action

An evil sorceress who lived 700 years ago used her magic to kill innocent children, for which she is cursed by God after her last spell. At the present time, a group of archaeologists from Istanbul is setting out on excavations in this accursed area to find a handwritten book by Sultan Salih . A woman on the excavation team tries to win over her friend's husband. She has a strong magic potion prepared for her, with which she wants to kill her opponent. But this awakens the magic and djinn slumbering in the earth of this place to new life.

reception

The film is sometimes referred to as one of the worst Turkish films: "Stupid horror film with a trite story and incompetent actors, which sometimes seems involuntarily funny, but does not even serve the trash factor." There was a rumor that the film "cursed" was what brought him a surprising success. One of the possible reasons for the rumor is the fact that the cinema burned down on the premiere night. Although the film went largely unnoticed in the western world, Aydan's rape scene received heightened attention on YouTube .
