The Heinze is an online manufacturer directory and reference work for building , equipment and furnishing products .

history

The manufacturer's directory was first published in 1973, initially under the title “Heinze Hochbau” , then as part of the German construction documentation. Users are mainly architects and planners in the building construction sector.

Data

With a circulation of 23,000 copies, the printed reference work was updated once a year and sent to architects and planners free of charge. In 2016, the 40th edition was published for the last time in print. The directory is publicly available free of charge as a research database on the Internet and offers the contact details of a total of 7,000 manufacturers and companies and around 400,000 product information. The organization is based on DIN 276 . The publisher is Heinze GmbH, founded in 1961 by Wolfgang Heinze and based in Celle, a company of the DOCUgroup .

The online research database with its search engine for manufacturers and building products is supplemented with tender texts and CAD details as planning aids for free download. The print edition, which was published until 2016, was divided into an overview of product groups, company portraits, a company directory with contact details, and products and manufacturers with product information from manufacturers.
