The struggle (SDAP magazine)

The fight was the title of the theoretical journal of the Austrian social democracy . The magazine was founded by Otto Bauer , Adolf Braun and Karl Renner after the SDAP had won the election in the Reichsrat elections in 1907 . It was published in Vienna from 1907 to February 1934 , after the failed February uprising in 1934 it was published illegally in the democratic Czechoslovakia until April 1938 (partly also in Czech). It was continued in Paris as "The Socialist Struggle - La lutte socialiste". After the end of the Second World War, the future was published as a successor from 1946 .

Otto Bauer, the editor of the Arbeiter-Zeitung at the time, was the editor of the social democratic monthly from 1907 to 1914 , and was co-editor until 1934. "The fight" is considered to be the main theoretical organ of Austromarxism .
