Carlo Magini (born September 16, 1720 in Fano ; † 1806 ibid) was an Italian late baroque still life painter.

Carlo was the son of the goldsmith Francesco Magini and Elisabetta Ceccarini, the sister of the painter Sebastiano Ceccarini . He probably received his first painting lessons from his uncle Sebastiano. In 1736 the Oratorians in Perugia commissioned Sebastiano Ceccarini to carry out frescoes in the chapel of the crucifix in their church in San Filippo. Carlo probably accompanied his uncle during his travels through Urbino, Perugia, Bologna, Florence and Venice between 1735 and 1738.

Carlo Magini worked in Rome in 1742 and 1743 . In 1748 the artist returned to Fano, where he married Elina Polinori from Pesaro on July 14th of that year.

Carlo Magini mainly created still lifes, less often portraits. In his works you can find the influence of Caravaggio , Antonio González Velázquez , Jean Siméon Chardin and the Spaniard Luis Eugenio Meléndez .
