Your back to the world
The world is back is a collection of stories by Elke Heidenreich , which was published in 2001 by Hanser . The book has been translated into several languages, including French, Turkish, and Korean.
The volume contains the following stories:

Criticism's response to the tape has been mixed. The Frankfurter Rundschau and Die Zeit received positive reviews and Waltraud Schwab found in the FAZ that Heidenreich had set a modest memorial with their stories to the lost generation between the 68s and the success and career-oriented generation after next:
“The book is a single parody of the world of the media, the old left and the sexually liberated. The journalist, columnist, talk show host and writer self-ironically pours ridicule on what should be dear to you yourself. But that's what Elke Heidenreich's effusions has always made so human: That she basically laughs at herself. Not about others. "
Karin Großmann also expresses herself positively in the Sächsische Zeitung and notes:
“[The stories] are written with a seemingly light hand, without a false bottom, without artful fuss. Elke Heidenreich still prefers to tell stories in the first person. Sometimes it sounds autobiographical. "
On the other hand, Manfred Papst in the NZZ judged largely negative , according to which Heidenreich's language was "frozen in conventions and empty words", and Kristina Maidt-Zinke in the SZ .
