Derek B. Miller (* 1970 in Boston , United States ) is an American political scientist and writer .

Biographical

After stays in Hungary , Israel , England and Switzerland , Miller has lived in Norway for a long time . After completing his doctorate at the University of Geneva , he became a specialist in security technology and works for various UN bodies , such as the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research . Miller is the director of The Policy Lab research institute .

In 2010 he published his first novel, Norwegian By Night , which first appeared in Norway and has since been translated into numerous languages. In Germany it was published in 2013 under the title A Strange Place to Die .

Derek B. Miller lives and works in Oslo .
