Deshamanya
Deshamanya ( Sinhalese දේශමාන්ය transcription: Dēshamāṉya; Tamil தேசமான்ய transcription: Tēcamāṉya; German: "Pride of the Nation") is the second highest honor in Sri Lanka , which is awarded by the government as a tribute to special citizens. It is given for “most honorable service” and is usually placed in front of the name as a title.
