Dessislav Chukolov

Dessislaw Slawow Tschukolow ( Bulgarian Десислав Славов Чуколов ; born December 22, 1974 in Russian ) is a Bulgarian politician of the Ataka party , member of the Ataka party in the 40th (2005-2007), 41st (2009-2013) and 42nd (2013 -) Bulgarian Parliament and former member of the European Parliament (2007–2009). Dessislav Tschukolow is married and has one child.

Life

Chukolov graduated from the University of Russe with a degree in European Studies in 2000 and worked as a software engineer. In addition to Bulgarian, he also speaks English, German and Russian.

Chukolov had the third place in the list for the Ataka party for the European elections in Bulgaria in 2009 . However, his party was only able to win two seats.

Viewpoints

Dessislav Chukolov (like the whole Ataka party) opposes a possible membership of Turkey in the EU , "... because this state has no place there ..." . According to Chukolov, Turkey belongs "... neither geographically, culturally or religiously to Europe and geopolitically intends to economically conquer as much territory as possible ..." , which is a danger.

On April 24, 2015, Dessislav Chukolov defended his party's motion for a resolution recognizing the Armenian genocide and setting April 24 as a memorial day for his victims. He recalled an earlier draft resolution of his party of January 17, 2006, which was rejected by the parties represented in Parliament at the time. In the course of the parliamentary session , he opposed the removal of the word genocide and the replacement of this word with mass extermination . The final version of the resolution adopted by Parliament speaks of mass destruction.

On July 19, 2019, Dessislav Chukolov denounced the acquisition of three F-16 aircraft, which have been manufactured since 1974 and are therefore of the same age as the models (see year of birth above).
