Detlef Bramigk

Detlef Bramigk (born July 4, 1935 , † March 22, 2011 in Berlin ) was a German engineer.

Bramigk co-founded the Society for Rational Energy Use (GRE) in 1978 and was its managing director from 1978 to 2008. With numerous leaflets and information brochures, he took care of consumer education in questions of environmentally friendly energy use.

He was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his lifelong commitment to environmental protection .
