Detlef Frahm

Detlef Frahm (born June 14, 1886 in Großenrade ; † May 18, 1969 ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

After attending primary school , Frahm, who was of Protestant faith, completed an agricultural apprenticeship. He later took over his parents' farm in Großenrade. He was a member of the district chamber of farmers, board member of the farmers' association Süderdithmarschen, chairman of the agricultural association Süderhastedt and the surrounding area, chairman of the Grossenrade savings and loan association, chairman of the cattle disposal cooperative Burg in Dithmarschen , board member of Schleswig-Holstein cattle disposal, board member of the cooperative dairy Grossenrade and board member of the agricultural district cooperative .

Frahm was married and had seven children.

Frahm belonged to the first state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein from 1947 to 1950 .

Public offices

After the Second World War, Frahm was temporarily mayor of his home town Grossenrade.
