Detlef Neuss

Detlef Neuß (born November 30, 1954 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German association official and worked as a media designer. Since March 12, 2016, he has been the federal chairman of the Pro Bahn passenger association and thus successor to Jörg Bruchertseifer .

Life

For large parts of his life, Neuss was involved in voluntary activities in initiatives and associations, in particular in the area of ​​employee representation and the Pro Bahn passenger association, a Germany-wide consumer association that advocates passenger interests, infrastructure development and a change in traffic .

Neuss was elected Federal Chairman of the Passenger Association at the Federal Association Day in Neubrandenburg in March 2016 . He is also active in the subordinate association levels of Pro Bahn, the North Rhine-Westphalia regional association and the Lower Rhine regional association. At the general meeting of his state association in North Rhine-Westphalia on April 22nd, 2017, he was re-elected as treasurer. At the regional level, he is the managing editor of "Niederrhein-Info", a local passenger magazine. He represents the passenger association at Allianz pro Schiene , a broad-based transport alliance of which Pro Bahn is a member.

Neuss is widowed and has a son.
