Detlef Neuss

Detlef Neuß (born November 30, 1954 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German association official and worked as a media designer. Since March 12, 2016, he has been the federal chairman of the Pro Bahn passenger association and thus successor to Jörg Bruchertseifer .
Life
For large parts of his life, Neuss was involved in voluntary activities in initiatives and associations, in particular in the area of employee representation and the Pro Bahn passenger association, a Germany-wide consumer association that advocates passenger interests, infrastructure development and a change in traffic .
Neuss was elected Federal Chairman of the Passenger Association at the Federal Association Day in Neubrandenburg in March 2016 . He is also active in the subordinate association levels of Pro Bahn, the North Rhine-Westphalia regional association and the Lower Rhine regional association. At the general meeting of his state association in North Rhine-Westphalia on April 22nd, 2017, he was re-elected as treasurer. At the regional level, he is the managing editor of "Niederrhein-Info", a local passenger magazine. He represents the passenger association at Allianz pro Schiene , a broad-based transport alliance of which Pro Bahn is a member.
Neuss is widowed and has a son.
