Detlef Thomsen

Detlef Thomsen (* July 8, 1880 in Winnert ; † February 11, 1954 there ) was a German politician of the Schleswig-Holstein farmers 'and agricultural workers' democracy (SHBLD).

Life and work

After attending elementary school in Winnert , Thomsen, who was a Protestant , worked in agriculture from 1896. In 1907 he took over his father's farm. In the First World War he was used in the train and the infantry .

Thomsen was deputy chairman of the farmers' association of the north .

From 1912 to 1918 Thomsen was community representative in Winnert . In 1919 he was elected as the only member of the SHBLD in the Weimar National Assembly, where he sat in on the DDP faction . On July 8, 1919, he resigned his mandate. Philipp Johannsen replaced him on August 1, 1919 .
