Detlef Zwicker

Detlef Zwicker (born around 1960) is a former German national hockey player of the GDR and coach at the Cöthener HC 02 .

Life

Zwicker played in the GDR national team from 1978 to 1990. In total, he ran 94 times for Germany, which makes him the GDR player with the 8th most appearances in the national team. His home club is the Cöthener HC, with which he won the GDR field championships twice. Today he works as a trainer at CHC, and this season he is significantly involved in the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . He is also the club's sports director .

His son Martin Zwicker currently plays for the BHC in the 1st Bundesliga and in the A-squad of the German national hockey team .
