Detlev Barth

Detlev Barth (born August 24, 1951 in Nienhagen / Celle) is a German lawyer and former politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending primary school in Nienhagen, Detlev Barth switched to the Ernestinum grammar school in Celle . From 1968 he attended high school in Hannoversch Münden until he graduated from high school. After graduating from school, he was drafted into the armed forces and is a first lieutenant in the reserve.

From 1975 to 1979 he studied at Göttingen law and put his first state exam in 1980th He was already a member of the Junge Union and later the CDU and the social committees of the CDA since 1969. Between 1970 and 1974 he was district chairman of the Junge Union in Hannoversch Münden and from 1973 to 1976 councilor of the city of Hannoversch Münden. From June 21, 1982 to June 20, 1986 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Barth has been managing director of WRG Wirtschaftsförderung Region Göttingen GmbH since April 2008.
