German didactics
German didactics is the name of the subject didactics of the teaching subject German, which scientifically deals with research, teaching and development subjects as well as the learning and teaching processes of German teaching . Organizationally, it is part of German studies at universities , partly also to elementary school education and special education . There are independent specialists for German as a foreign language .
Traditionally, in the German teaching Literaturdidaktik (for example, with the focus Literarisches learning ), and the language teaching distinguished, although there are efforts to form a compound (inclusive approach). In addition, there is a separate focus on media didactics , which deals with phenomena such as intermediality in text and images. German didactics is an often interdisciplinary subject that draws connections between educational sciences, psychology, sociology, etc. and makes it fruitful for the design and reflection of educational processes in German lessons.
The professional representation has taken place in the German Association of Germanists since 1912 . In German-speaking countries, the Symposion Deutschdidaktik association organizes the exchange of specialist knowledge on German didactics at regular conferences. The specialist managers in the traineeship are also influential .
