German Academy (right-wing extremist organization)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Deutsche Akademie (DA) is a right-wing extremist training facility founded in 2000 with changing venues and a post office box in Kaiserslautern .

organization

The Deutsche Akademie sees itself as a “non-party initiative of nationally minded Germans who are working on the spiritual rebirth of their people”, as a “non-partisan working platform for various national organizations” and sees itself as part of a “national opposition in Germany”.

Jürgen Schwab and Martin Laus are responsible for the organization . Along with the Deutsches Kolleg, it is one of the best-known groups dedicated to right-wing extremist theory and strategy formation. The organizations closely related to the DA include the German College, the National Democratic University Association (NHB) and the Thule Seminar . Various constitution protection authorities attribute a special proximity to the NPD to her. With the increasing tensions between Schwab and the NPD, however, these contacts have diminished.

aims

The German Academy is working to bring so-called “nationally minded intellectuals” together and to form a “spiritual counter-elite”. According to her own account, she wants to " offer food for thought for the formation of an intellectual elite from which the renewal of people and state should start ". She attaches particular importance to the “ development and definition of political and sociological terms ” “ in the field of national political theory work and education ”. According to the DA, these represent “ tools of thought with which political rule is exercised ”. This applies especially to the “ national situation ” in which the Germans have found themselves since the “ incapacity of the German Reich since 1945 ”: “ Brainwashed and intimidated by ' re-education ' and ' denazification ' , many of our compatriots indulge themselves in empty phrases like ' Democracy and Human Rights ' "

Meetings and seminars

To this end, she holds weekend seminars twice a year at different locations in Germany. In addition, a single speaker can be requested for seminars. The topics of such events were B. " National revolutionary today". They deal thematically with the conception of order of the NPD and questions of state philosophy and also take up aspects of globalization . The speakers include a. Horst Mahler , Udo Voigt and Thor von Waldstein . One of the most popular venues is an inn in Mosbach (Thuringia) near Eisenach . The events are regularly attended by 50 to sometimes more than 100 people.

Furthermore, according to research by the Cologne Left Party , the DA is said to have launched an "agent dropout program". Secret service agents and confidants who have information about the infiltration of the NPD by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution should switch sides. There would be a “qualified specialist available to manage this project”, by which the Cologne graduate psychologist and NPD functionary Benedikt Frings should be meant.
