German Embassy School Tehran

The German Embassy School Tehran (DBST; formerly German School Teheran DST) was founded in 1980 as the successor to the German School Tehran, which was once the largest German school abroad . It is located in the Gholhak district in Tehran .

Today the DBST enables a German school education up to the Abitur. The school takes part in the final procedure of the Standing Conference (KMK) for lower secondary level ; d. H. Under the chairmanship of an examination officer appointed by the KMK, the pupils in grade 10 take a final examination and acquire the secondary school or secondary school certificate or the right to transition to the upper level.

The school also has a German kindergarten. At the school, seven mediated teachers as well as 16 German-speaking local teachers and four German-speaking kindergarten teachers teach around 150 students in the German school. Another 100 students are taught in the international section that has existed since the British embassy was stormed on November 30th, 2011.
