Christopher Blenkinsop
Christopher Blenkinsop (born Christopher Johann Philip Blenkinsop-Gerke on March 7, 1963 in Manila , Philippines ) is a German musician and producer .
The son of an English mother and a German father grew up in Cairo , Casablanca , Tehran and Jakarta before his family moved to Germany in the late 1970s . After graduating from high school in Leverkusen in 1983 , he moved to Berlin , where he has lived since then and has worked as a composer , arranger and multi-instrumentalist . He is a founding member of the Berlin band 17 Hippies . He is a great-nephew of Arthur Blenkinsop .
He is the founder and managing director of Tyfoo Musikverlagsgesellschaft mbH.
