  • cooperation with scientific institutions at home and abroad
  • educating the population about laser therapeutic treatment methods
  • Cooperation and exchange of experience with doctors in private practice and clinically active in laser therapy at home and abroad
  • Education and training of its members in relation to laser safety and the use of various laser types and therapies on humans.

The association organizes an annual conference .

history

The association was founded in 1992 as the "German Society for Dermatological Laser Therapy" (DGLT) in Sigmaringen . In 1995 the name was changed to "Deutsche Dermatologische Lasergesellschaft eV". In 2014 the association was realigned. In addition to laser energy, other forms of energy gained in importance in diagnostic and therapeutic processes. This applies, for example, to intensive pulsed light , high frequency , ultrasound , refrigeration and biochemical processes.

membership

There are two forms of membership :

Any specialist in dermatology with experience in laser therapy can become a full member. Also every doctor who works predominantly dermatologically and has experience in laser therapy. The prerequisite for admission as a full member is the consent of two guarantors from among the full members.

Any doctor can become a so-called “cooperative member”. The prerequisite for admission is the consent of two guarantors from among the full members.
