German Society for Group Analysis and Group Psychotherapy

The German Society for Group Analysis and Group Psychotherapy eV (D3G), based in Berlin, is a specialist society promoting the use of group analysis methods in various areas of work in Germany.

It was founded in Berlin in 2011 and is an amalgamation of the former sections of Analytical Group Psychotherapy, Clinic and Practice and Intended Dynamic Group Psychotherapy of the German Working Group for Group Psychotherapy and Group Dynamics (DAGG), which was dissolved in 2011 .

The D3G promotes research, science and the application of group analysis in areas such as group psychotherapy , social work , the health system , education system , counseling , supervision and organizational development . It conducts conferences, congresses and other training events and cooperates with other specialist societies and institutions, these are the Group Analytic Society , the German Society for Supervision and others.

The lectures of the annual meetings are published in the journal Gruppepsychotherapie und Gruppendynamik .
