German Society for Social Relations
The German Society for Social Relations ( DGfSB ) was an organization of psychological warfare / psychological defense (PSK / PSV), which was covertly financed by the Federal Ministry of Defense and other government agencies of the Federal Republic of Germany. The main task was to take care of GDR refugees from the border troops and the NVA , who were considered deserted in the GDR . Among other things, the return rate should be kept low. The DGfSB was based in Bad Godesberg , where it is located in the service building at Ubierstrasse 88shared with the PSK / PSV-funded study society for time problems . There were also personal overlaps between the DGfSB and the study society. The DGfSB existed from 1963 to 1991. During this time, more than 2,000 refugees were cared for, of which 71 percent were crews , 26 percent were non-commissioned officers and three percent were officers .
