The German honesty treasure trove is one of numerous self-leaning pits on the Rabenberg between Johanngeorgenstadt and Breitenbrunn / Erzgeb. operated on tin . The location of the pit is believed to be above the current district of Lachthaus, not far from the Deutsche Treu mine .

The supporters of the mine were Johann Christian Georgi in 1719/29, Johann Heinrich Grabi in 1724/26 and between 1730 and 1746 the councilor Johann Heinrich Schmied (* 1686) together with Christoph Heinrich Herrmann, from 1746 to 1749 Johann Christian Mittelbach was the last Evidence of self-leaners.

After 1730, the German honesty treasure trove also included its own stamping mill, which was powered by black water and was located directly on the Bohemian border on the site of the later Johanngeorgenstadt freight station. Johann Heinrich Schmied, who only leased the Pochplatz, left the Pochwerk to the Michaelis treasure trove as early as 1745 .
