The German quarterly journal for literary studies and intellectual history (abbreviated DVjs ) is a literary and cultural history specialist journal. It is currently edited by Christian Kiening , Albrecht Koschorke , Carlos Spoerhase , Juliane Vogel and David E. Wellbery .

The DVjs first appeared in 1923, founded by Paul Kluckhohn and Erich Rothacker . It appears four times a year and is devoted to interdisciplinary topics from literary studies, philosophy and cultural history. It is one of the leading specialist journals in German and general literature in the German-speaking area and beyond.
