Deven Sharma
Deven Sharma (* 1956 in Dhanbad , Jharkhand , India ) is an American- Indian manager and author.
Life
Sharma studied economics at the Dhanbad Birla Institute of Technology , the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and Ohio State University .
In August 2007 he became President of the US rating company Standard & Poor’s . He resigned from his post on August 23, 2011. Douglas Peterson is expected to succeed Sharmas in mid-September.
Sharma lives in New York City .
