The Dewinsee is a lake in Biesenthal in the Barnim district in Brandenburg . Historically, the lake was called Danewitz Lake .
The lake is around 9.5 hectares in size and up to 4 meters deep and is located in a wooded area near the federal highway 2 near Biesenthal between Bernau and Eberswalde in Brandenburg. The southern discharge flows into the Langeröner Fließ. Beavers have been populating the lake again since 2012 . The lake is used as club water by the local fishing club, which also manages the boat berths. The Dewinsee is listed in the DAV guide as fishing waters No. 1698 F 03-105. The Lower Water Authority is responsible for the Dewinsee according to the Brandenburg Water Act (BbgWG).
Fish stocks: eel, perch, bream, bream, pike, carp, roach, tench and pikeperch.
