The St. George Church in Pleven

The Diocese of Pleven ( Bulgarian Плевенска епархия / Plewenska Eparchija) is an eparchy (diocese) of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church based in Pleven . The diocese is one of the smallest in Bulgaria and is now divided into two okolii : Pleven and Lukowit . The eparchy was created in 1998.
