Di Grine Kuzine is a German band that tries to combine Eastern European ( Klezmer , folk songs ) and Western European ( Pop , Ska , Latin ) influences ("Eastern Roots - Western Beats")

Di Grine Kuzine was founded in Berlin in 1993 . It is named after a klezmer classic from 1921, Di grine kuzine by Abe Schwartz , a famous song about a Russian-Jewish immigrant girl in America.
