Diakonie in Lower Saxony
The Diakonie in Niedersachsen eV is the umbrella organization of the diaconal works of the member churches of the Confederation of Protestant Churches in Lower Saxony . The seat is in Hanover . The office is at the Diakonisches Werk of the Regional Church of Hanover in Ebhardtstr. located in Hanover. The organization is a member of the Bundesverband Diakonie Deutschland .
history
On July 1st 2010 the Diakonische Werke of the Evangelical Lutheran Church founded. Regional Church of Hanover , the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oldenburg , the Evangelical Lutheran Regional Church in Braunschweig , the Evangelical Lutheran State Church Schaumburg-Lippe and the Evangelical Reformed Church the Diakonie in Lower Saxony as a joint umbrella organization.
tasks
The association has the task of representing the Diakonische Werke in Lower Saxony vis-à-vis the State of Lower Saxony and nationwide partners, and to represent the interests of its members. The Diakonie in Lower Saxony should strengthen the community of the Diakonische Werke and plan, coordinate and carry out common tasks. The association represents the member organizations in all questions that are jointly dealt with. The association is headed by a board of directors to which the boards and management of the member plants belong.
