Diana Fankhauser

Diana Fankhauser (* 1996 ) is a Swiss sportswoman in the sport of wrestling .

Career

At the age of eight she came with her parents from the Emmental to Chesalles-sur-Oron , where she grew up on a farm together with two younger siblings. Today the medical practice assistant lives in Lauenen .

In her youth she was the only girl in the Haute-Broye swing club. Her grandfather and mother Rosmarie were gifted wrestlers, two of her aunts were wrestling queens: Eveline Dolder in 2000 and 2001 and Margrit Vetter-Fankhauser in 2013 and 2014. She herself was wrestling queen in 2018 and would like women to be more involved in wrestling, so more competition .
