Dibenzazepine
Dibenzazepines , formerly Dibenzoazepine , more specifically 5 H -dibenzo [ b , f ] azepine , agents are of a chemical substance group in which two benzene rings in a central, nitrogen-containing seven-membered ring, the 1 H -azepin , fused are. Some of the compounds are used as drugs ( tricyclic antidepressants and anticonvulsants ).
Examples of representatives used as medicinal substances are carbamazepine , the dihydrated dibenzazepine (dihydrobenzazepine) imipramine . Structurally similar - but with a different arrangement of the heteroatoms and therefore not a derivative of 5 H -dibenzo [ b , f ] azepine - is the dibenzoxazepine amoxapine .
