Dick Barber

Dick Barber (actually Richard Alvah Barber; born July 24, 1910 in Sibley , Iowa , † May 22, 1983 in La Jara , Colorado ) was an American long jumper .

In the Olympic year 1932 he won the US eliminations with his personal best of 7.73 m and thus qualified for the Games in Los Angeles , where he was fifth with 7.39 m.
