Richard Allen "Dick" Rahoi (born November 30, 1934 in Iron Mountain , Michigan ) is a former American ski jumper and later a local politician.

Career

Rahoi started ski jumping in his hometown of Iron Mountain. In 1953 he won the North America Junior Championships. The following year he became the United States B-class champion. After he reached second place at the Olympic Trials in 1956, he got a starting place at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . With rank 51, however, he only ended up in last place there.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 , Rahoi reached 44th place with jumps on 64.5 and 60.5 meters.

After the end of his playing career, Rahoi became involved in Iron Mountain's local politics.
