Dickson Choto (born March 19, 1981 in Hwedza , Zimbabwe ) is a former Zimbabwean football player . He was used as a defender .

Club career

Dickson Choto has played in Poland since 2000 . From 2000 to 2002 he was under contract with Górnik Zabrze . In 2002 he was committed by the league rival Pogoń Szczecin . He played here until 2003. Since 2003 he has played for Legia Warsaw in the Polish capital . With Legia he was able to celebrate two Polish championships, four cup wins and one triumph in the Polish Supercup.

National team

Choto participated with Zimbabwe in the African Cup of Nations in 2004 and 2006 . He was a long-time member of the Zimbabwe national team and played seven international matches from 2003 to July 2009.
