Didier Dheedene (born January 22, 1972 in Antwerp ) is a former Belgian football player on the position of a defender .

Career

The full-back began his career with the clubs Olimpia Wilrijk and Beerschot VAV. Dheedene came to RSC Anderlecht in 1997 via Germinal Ekeren , where he became a national player. From 2001 to 2002 he played for TSV 1860 Munich in Germany. For the 2002/03 season, the fashion-conscious Belgian went to FK Austria Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga. From 2009 to 2010 he played for the Belgian third division club Cappellen FC , where he then ended his active career.

Dheedene played twelve times for the Belgian national team . He made his debut on February 28, 2001 in the game against San Marino . He played his last game on September 4, 2004 against Lithuania .
