Career

Didier Patalin moved in 1988 from the lower-class club RC Ancenis from the western French city of Ancenis to the second division club Cercle Dijon . There he came to four missions in the first season. He was used more often in the following years, but could not become a regular and moved in 1991 to league rivals US Orléans . After a season in Orléans, he went to FC Mulhouse , also competing in the second division , where he became a regular. In 1994 he left the club, however, in the direction of the then lower-class club FC Vannes . The following year he signed again in the second division with the USL Dunkerque . With her, however, he was relegated to the third division in 1996. Then he played at the also lower class FC Bourges . From 1998 to 1999 his season at VfR Mannheim was the only international experience in his career. He then played another year at the now fourth-rate USL Dunkerque before ending his career in 2000. In total, he played 145 second division games in France (2 goals), but did not appear in the first division.
