This was a Danish death metal band from Aarhus that was formed in 2005 and disbanded in 2013.
history
The band was founded in the spring of 2005 by the drummer Bent Bisballe Nyeng and the guitarist Tajs Kolman. A short time later, singer Simon Pedersen from Fairytale Abuse joined the cast. The group then recorded their first Demolied Life Eraser in April of the same year . After guitarist Rasmus Henriksen and bassist Jonas Møller joined the band, the group recorded the next demo, Relentless Pain , which included a newly recorded version of Life Eraser and two other songs. The demo was released in autumn 2005. In the following year the band continued to write new songs and played their first live performance at the music café in Aarhus. This was followed by further appearances at the Aalborg Metal Festival and in the factories in Aarhus. In January 2007 the band released the single Mors et Sanguis . In August of the same year, the group went to the studio to begin recording their debut album Rise of the Rotten . In early 2008, singer Pedersen decided to leave the band in order to devote more time to Fairytale Abuse and his family. He was replaced by Søren Christensen in May 2008. Christensen recorded the vocal tracks for the album in December 2008. The recordings were then sent to Tue Madsen in Antfarm Studios , where the recordings were mixed and mastered in February 2009: After the album was ready for release in August 2009, the group started looking for a new label, which they put on in early 2010 Unique Leader Records found. The album was released about this in March 2010. In March 2013, the band held their last appearance.
style
According to Phil Freeman from Allmusic, the band play classic Death Metal on Relentless Pain , with guttural vocals reminiscent of Piotr Wiwczarek from Vader . The guitarists' riffs are tuned down. They have a brutal sound and are not overly complex. Playing the drums has some complex pieces.
