The adventures of the mouse on Mars arose from a storytelling competition in which children were invited to send in their ideas for stories. The Ueberreuter storytelling competition took place in 1971 (25 years Ueberreuter Verlag, 10 years Annette Betz Verlag). 6671 children wrote stories. 100 stories were selected and published in the book "The Mouse on Mars". ISBN 3 8000 2131 5 .
content
The mouse originally lived in Cape Canaveral , but was shot to Mars by rocket and was unable to return. On Mars, they experienced with their neighbors, a Martian and a mole , many adventures. However, the mouse has to be careful when eating dondrins, red and white striped candy canes that grow on trees, because they always became much too big.
