action

The brothers Georg, Alexander and Niklas are about to make an original present for their mother's 70th birthday. But the oldest brother Georg doesn't like the idea of photographically recreating a bathtub picture from childhood. As a politician, he cannot afford to be half-naked in a photo, but his two brothers force him to participate. Slowly the covers fall and three brothers remain who have become strangers in the meantime.

reception

The film refers to an internet trend that was kicked off by the Argentinean photographer Irina Werning's photo project “Back to the Future”. With this trend, old childhood images are re-enacted years later, whereby care is taken to recreate the original image as accurately as possible through clothing, background and pose.
