The Blechblos'n is a German band from the area of brass music , the popular song and the pop and rock music .

history

The Blechblos'n was founded in 1986 and has appeared in public since 1989. In the same year the band got a permanent engagement in the Hackerkeller in Munich. In 1990 the Blechblos'n appeared at the Bavarian Weeks at the London Hilton Hotel. The music group has played every year in the Weinzelt at the Munich Oktoberfest since 1994 , and their first CD was released in 1996.

Since 1997 they have appeared in various folk music programs on ZDF and ORF. In 2002 the band took part in an advertising campaign for Media Markt with the song The thickest eggs in the world . In 2006, the television commercial for the soccer World Cup for Erdinger wheat beer was created .

In 2005 the band qualified as one of the 15 participants in the German preliminary round for the Grand Prix of Folk Music .

The performances of the group are not limited to the music, but consist of many show elements up to the travesty .

In 2011 the band played their first appearance at Wacken Open Air , where they have been a regular guest ever since. In December 2012, the front man and founder Anderl Laubert left the band after 25 years. Since then, bassist Roland Schleifer has been at the moderation microphone.
