The party Die Einheit (spelling: DIE EINHEIT ) was a small German party . It was founded on March 23, 2013 in Cologne as the repatriate and migrant party Germany - UNIT .

Programmatic orientation

The party campaigned primarily for repatriates and ethnic German repatriates . The chairman Dimitri Rempel was deputy chairman of the Cologne Integration Council and an SPD member for ten years before he founded the party Die Einheit . According to its own statements, the party advocated a "systematic further development of the education system in Germany", for "combating poverty in old age" through a "reorganization of the minimum pension scheme", for "protecting [...] against state overregulation" of smaller companies, for “clear regulation of legal immigration” and “resolute containment of illegal migration”. The party turned against the planned TTIP agreement .

The party program also added "increased penalties for all crimes committed by pedophiles [sic] , murderers and recidivists [sic]" and "the introduction of earlier criminal responsibility for serious and very serious crimes committed by children and young people [sic] (now - from 14 years) ”, required.

Furthermore, the basic program in the field of energy, environment and nature conservation u. a. the permit for "free fishing in all waters of Germany" or "to increase the penalty for incorrectly throwing out garbage and not removing dog waste".

elections

The party ran in the 2014 local elections in Cologne, but with 764 votes and a share of 0.19% clearly missed the target of getting into the city council. In the municipal elections in Baden-Württemberg in 2014 , the party received 3,768 votes (0.6%) in Baden-Baden and 1,426 votes (0.7%) in Remseck am Neckar , leaving it without seats. In the state elections in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2016 , she entered with a state list and achieved 3,105 votes (0.15%), in the state election in Baden-Württemberg 2016 , where there are no state lists, the party only ran in one constituency and received 214 votes (0.0%). In the 2017 election in Saarland , she received 0.2% of the vote.

organization

According to the Federal Returning Officer, in 2016 the party had state associations in Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Berlin, Bavaria, Saarland, Lower Saxony and Hamburg and, according to its own statements, was active in "23 cities in 10 federal states".

The unit is no longer listed in the party directory of the Federal Returning Officer. A dissolution date has not yet been announced.

criticism

The party has been repeatedly criticized for being an extended arm of the Putin regime in Russia with the aim of influencing German domestic politics. This criticism was particularly loud in the run-up to the 2017 federal election . The party itself was unable to take part in the election due to a lack of supporting signatures.

The party attracted attention with racist remarks. The founder then called the right-wing extremist Chriskon ("Christian Conservative") into being.
