Eisblumenfarm is a short film by Dom Betz (2004) based on the story Sommerhaus, later by Judith Hermann .

Ammalie, lover of the pop author Georg von Eiler, is tired of sharing the excessive writer with playmates. One evening, taxi driver Stein picks them up from Eiler's mountain hut. He's not been a driver for long, rather he is simply trying out another occupation. It fits his life, a life always on the move. Stein has no apartment, no permanent residence. Sometimes he sleeps here, sometimes there, only to finally move on. Ammalie hides from Georg that she falls in love with stone. Stein buys a rundown summer house. After an argument with Eiler, Stein withdrew more and more. What is worse for him, however, is that Ammalie is now openly amused by his lifestyle and humiliated him as an underage child. Ammalie returns to Eiler. A few months later, she received a postcard from which she learned that the summer house had burned down.
