The Companions: Monthly for Knowledge and Action was a monthly or bimonthly free-trade magazine by the German publisher Rudolf Zitzmann , which appeared from 1946 to 1950. It was an organ of supporters of Silvio Gesell's ideas and contained libertarian ideas. The contributions by Wilhelm Brachmann and Rolf Engert's reception by Max Stirner as well as reprints by Pierre-Joseph Proudhon were significant . Contributors included Joseph Bauer, Richard Batz and Wilhelm Brachmann.
