The Heads of My Loved Ones is the title of the second crime novel and bestseller by the German writer Ingrid Noll . The original edition was published in 1993 by Diogenes Verlag .

In 1994 Ingrid Noll was awarded the Friedrich Glauser Prize for the novel .

The film of the same name was made in 1999 under the direction of Hans-Günther Bücking with Heike Makatsch and Christiane Paul in the leading roles.
