The Hegl are an Austrian folk music group .

Career

The popular group "Die Hegl" was founded in 1998 and has since performed mainly in the Austrian Alpine region. Outside Austria , the group achieved success at the largest American Oktoberfest and also performed on cruises in the Mediterranean (2002) and the Caribbean (2003).

Components of her up to 120 live performances per year include her own compositions as well as folk hits and mood music. At the beginning of 2011 "Die Hegl" announced a musical break for an uncertain time.
