The Mayrhofner (formerly Original Mayrhofner Trio ) are an Austrian folk music group from Mayrhofen in the Zillertal .

history

The Original Mayrhofner Trio group existed as early as the 1980s and 1990s, and was mainly concerned with traditional folk music . After their dissolution, Erwin Aschenwald founded Die Mayrhofner with his sons Erwin Aschenwald junior, Michael Aschenwald and Tom Partl and Ulli Huber , which tends towards folk music.
