The Pigeon Die is an Australian Goregrind and Brutal Death Metal band from Melbourne , which was founded in 2005.
history
The band was formed in 2005, with the live cast made up of members of various grindcore groups such as Fuck… I'm Dead , Super Happy Fun Slide and The Communion from New York City . In 2007 the album Ripped from V to A was released on No Escape Records . In 2015 they went on a tour through Japan .
style
Brian Giffin described the band's music in his Encyclopedia of Australian Heavy Metal as "perverted" Goregrind. Denise Falzon from exclaim.ca saw it similarly , who assigned Die Pigeon Die to Goregrind and Brutal Death Metal, whereby the group is dynamic, playful and technically demanding. The singing, which consists of very deep growls, is particularly characteristic .
