background

The Viersteins was the first self-produced series on the TV station ProSieben. The first season with 20 episodes was broadcast on Sunday evening between October 1995 and March 1996 and was not a great success for ProSieben. A second season between February and June 1997 with 12 episodes ran on Fridays in the evening program . The attempt to achieve greater success with over-the-top characters and stories did not work.

tm3 repeated 24 episodes of the series between December 31, 2000 and April 15, 2001.

Numerous celebrities had guest appearances in the series, including Dolly Buster , Sky Dumont , Ottfried Fischer , Maria Furtwängler , Arabella Kiesbauer , Nino Korda and Fritz Wepper .
