The heroic horsemen ( Les héros cavaliers ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series published between 1986 and 1997 .

Britain has been abandoned by the Roman soldiers and is defenseless against barbaric raids. At the time, the young Kern Ab Efrog lived on a farm with his mother. After meeting Merlin, he was given the name Perceval and was accepted into the retinue of King Arthur and his round table.

Patrick Cothias wrote the Middle Ages series, which mixed historical events with the legend about King Arthur . Michel Rouge drew the first two episodes . The author of the last four stories was Philippe Tarral . The series was published in Vécu in 1986 . Glénat released the albums. Feest published the first two episodes in the German-speaking area.
