Francine Sandberg is a French film editor .

Life

Francine Sandberg's grandfather was the film producer Serge Sandberg (1879-1981), who from the Lithuanian , the time for the Russian Empire belonging Kaunas came and had moved to France. Her mother Suzanne Sandberg was an editor like her, her brother Marc Sandberg is a film historian. Her cousin, the costume designer Dominique Borg , also works in film. For her work on this film, Sandberg received her first nomination for the César in the category Best Editing . For its sequel L'auberge espagnole - Wiedersehen in St. Petersburg (2005) and the film So ist Paris (2008), which was also directed by Klapisch , Sandberg was nominated two more times for the César.
