The twelve jury are twelve people from the population who are called upon to participate in a murder trial on a jury and pass a judgment. In the trial, the headmistress Frie Palmers is accused of having murdered her best friend Brechtje Vindervogel and her daughter Roos. In addition to the trial, the lives and backgrounds of the individual jurors are also examined, and they also have many dark secrets to hide.

Production and broadcast

The premiere took place as part of the Canneseries Festival on April 8, 2019, in Belgium the public television channel Eén broadcast The Twelve Jurors starting on November 3, 2019. Netflix secured the international marketing rights, and the original Dutch version was available for streaming in the Netherlands from April 17, 2020 . The German-language dubbed version was published on July 10, 2020.
